Representing my CV on a Kanban board

Tags: , ,

Whilst looking for another contract I brushed off and updated my CV. It’s got all the required sections, the necessary information and detail, the company names and some numbers too, and it looks, well, boring…

So I decided to experiment in interactive CV making and decided that a kanban format would allow me to show my Curriculum Vitae using the usual:

  • what I want to do but not yet started
  • what I have started working on
  • what I have already delivered

It worked surprisingly well for mapping all the things I have on my ‘in line” CV. Also, I used Hype for this project, which allowed me to export to html5 and include animations and transitions. The end results is a somewhat large document (+2MO), but hey, this is an experiment after all 🙂

WARNING: for some reasons, it ONLY opens gracefully on the latest versions of FIREFOX and SAFARI (but not ipads or iphones…). It will actually crash your browsers on mobile devices… sorry.

Well, I had fun doing this, but I am not going to try and make it compatible with other platforms and browsers, so here goes the experiment, I hope you enjoy it!

My CV kanban Style!
